WJCreate was founded in 2016 by John Crum, a General Contractor, and Jason Jensen, an Architect and Principal of Wannemacher Jensen Architects. Having completed several projects together and admiring one another’s approach the two decided to team up to create a construction company that would focus on building better through a better construction process. Since forming, WJC’s growth has been calculated and consistent. In 2019 WJCreate built the firms new headquarters directly next to the company’s existing offices on Mirror Lake in downtown St. Petersburg.

When we founded WJCreate we didn’t want to be just another contractor. We got into this profession because we love solving problems, working with people, and building things we can be proud of. While grounded in traditional values of hard work and a dedication to quality, our approach to construction aims to challenge common building practices and improve the status quo. We are grounded optimists driven by a constant desire to improve. We see the possibility where others only see the impossible.
